Sociology Department

Sociology is the study of how individuals and groups of people function within social contexts. Sociologists focus on individuals at all stages of life, on all types of groups, and on diverse social contexts. The study of Sociology will improve your understanding of social phenomena such as crime, homelessness, immigration, child abuse, mental illness, legal processes, job satisfaction, and more.
